Design CabinetsTime to get deep into the details! Now we figure out the exact size of every single panel. You will need to send us your final IKEA drawings, appliance package, any architectural drawings, and critical room dimensions. We then create the elevations required to correctly size the custom parts.
During this step, our experts are going to suggest custom details and other little touches that can further transform your affordable IKEA bases into the look and feel of high-end custom cabinetry. This step takes at least 2 weeks. For many, it takes much longer. Duration depends on such things as accuracy and completeness of provided information, the number of explored ideas, and your response speed, to name just a few.
Once the vision is finalized, we send you Confirmation Drawings – precise drawings of each panel – for your review and approval. Upon approval, we recalculate your final order’s cost. We know that designing custom cabinetry is complicated, and to keep it fun and fair for all, the final price is based on the area of what you buy. Your adjusted balance payment is now due. Upon receipt, you move on to production.
The panels are now made. Like anything bespoke, it takes some time to do this right. Typical production takes 4 to 6 weeks, and we promise to update you swiftly should that time frame shift.
A few days before completion, we learn your shipment’s exact size and weight. We use this data to prepare your shipping invoice, which is paid separately. We use LTL to ship all over the country. Note that they provide curbside delivery. If you have any specific shipping needs, please let us know. And for those of you in the Los Angeles and Seattle area who may want to pick up directly, let us know in advance. We will happily explore whether a will-call can work for your order.
